Hemolysis and Bleeding During Exercise

چکیده
it is well known that there are lower erytrocyte count and hernoglobin(Hb) value in the sportsmen than sedentary peop]e. It calied sportsanemia. Developrnent of anemia a sportsman may depend on bleeding from urinary gastrointestinal tracts hemolysis during exercise some other factors. We opinion rewiev about these two sportsanernia reasons(bleeding hemolysis) be useful for investigators who study exercise.

Exercise-induced hemolysis in xerocytosis. Erythrocyte dehydration and shear sensitivity.
A patient with xerocytosis was found to have swimming-induced intravascular hemolysis and shortening of erythrocyte life-span. In a microviscometer, xerocytes were more susceptible than normal erythrocytes to hemolysis by shear stress. Fractionation of normal and abnormal cells on discontinuous Stractan density gradients revealed that increasingly dehydrated cells were increasingly more shear s...

W i n t r o d u c e d a n e w t y p e o f blood bags from two different manufacturers at our center with diversion pouch and sampling device. Stripping of tube segments was also introduced to have anticoagulated blood in satellite tube. During component preparation, we observed 11 blood bags were showing pinkish to red colored plasma immediately after first centrifugation which was suggestive o...
متن کاملDoes Tranexamic Acid Reduce Bleeding during Femoral Fracture Operation?
Background:Proximal Femoral shaft fractures are commonly associated with marked blood loss which can lead topostoperative acute anemia and some other complications.Tranexamic acid (TA) is an antifibrinolytic medication that reduces intra-and postoperative blood loss and transfusionrequirements during some elective surgeries (1-3).The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of intravenous Tr...
متن کاملExercise-induced hemolysis is caused by protein modification and most evident during the early phase of an ultraendurance race.
Whether structural changes of the erythrocyte membrane increase the susceptibility to hemolysis particularly of the relatively older cell population during the early phase of a 216-km ultrarace was tested in six male runners (age 53.6 +/- 10.4 yr, height 175.8 +/- 11.1 cm, body mass 75.9 +/- 8.4 kg). Erythrocyte membrane spectrins were lowest (P < 0.001) after 42 km (75.59 +/- 5.25% of prerace)...
متن کاملUnexpected Intravascular Hemolysis and Methemoglobinemia during Treatment for Lymphoma
A patient undergoing chemotherapy for relapsed non Hodgkin lymphoma developed tumor lysis syndrome, hypoxia and the abrupt onset of intravascular hemolysis. A past history of unexplained anemia and the finding of blister cells on peripheral smear led to the suspicion of congenital glucose phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency with intravascular hemolysis induced by the drug rasburicase. G6P...
